One of the very first things I bought to embellish the Avalon was this custom trunk liner. It fits perfectly, and I’m very pleased.
This one was a tip mentioned on the Gadgetjq website. Adding a smart little coin holder to the dash compartment by the driver’s left knee. I don’t have much use for coins these days, but at least they aren’t rattling around in the console. What I’d like to do here is install a USB charging port that can easily reach my cell phone on a magnetic mount in the vent just above. It’s good to have something to look forward to.
I like this organizer, but it’s not pleasing me 100%. I like the good number of pockets, and find it convenient as I am filing it up with essentials. Except it’s maybe a little bit large. It doesn’t mate well with the contours of the trunk. Also, It’s collapsible, but I don’t see the point of collapsing it, really. It kind of slides around on the Smartliner, which I guess is a quality of the Smartliner. It just now occurs to me that I could use some Velcro strips to make the organizer stick to the sides of the trunk. On balance, I like it. It has ample room to store the miscellaneous things you might want to carry around with you. Oh, I see I have to put my shopping bags back in the car…
I installed this fuse block / power bank, thinking that any accessories I may want to add can easily be wired into this block. I switched the engine light to be powered from here. I’m planning on running wires from here through the rubber grommet in the firewall to power the dash cam. For the moment, the dash cam is wired into the interior fuse panel, as I’m not quite sure how to get at any wires I put through the grommet. Still working on that 🙂
